Montana Governor addresses forum on restoration of land, heritage
Restoring natural and historic places is not just a fuzzy, feel-good idea. It can lead to the return of wild places and animals, preservation of important pieces of heritage and the undoing of damage inflicted years ago. And closer to the pocketbook, it creates jobs and stimulates economies, Gov. Brian Schweitzer said Thursday.

Conservationists honor Gordy Sanders, resource forester, for his "tireless" work
For a decade, Missoula conservationists have honored resource professionals in western Montana with an award named for the man many consider the heart and soul of the area's conservation movement — Arnold Bolle.
